My friend is a “value investor” at a big hot-shot VC fund in Silicon Valley. Over the last decade, whenever we get together for dinner, he always loves to talk about the next big trend in investing. The guy doesn’t follow any sport teams or have any hobbies. All he literally thinks or talks about is investing. To him, investing is this massive global game that he’s constantly competing against the world in. Some examples of the big winners that he has mentioned to me over the years:Netflix in 2012Tesla in 2013Bitcoin in 2015Ethereum in 2017His advice has made me a lot of money so far.He is extremely bullish on bitcoin becoming the global “internet money”, but warned that governments and banks would be pushing their own central digital currencies.He mentioned security tokens would be massive in the coming years and act as a bridge between blockchain networks and legacy financial assets.He also mentioned these new hybrid blockchains with software data solutions for businesses and governments would create massive value in the coming years. Data is already the new oil of the digital age.Anyways, I just wanted to get reddit’s opinions on the next big money making trends in cryptocurrencies and what businesses are set up to capitalize on them.
