We just launched a tool we've been working on for a few months! What do you think?

Link to our tool: https://livetrader.ioWe wanted to make trading crypto easier by automating it. The other solutions out there are overcomplicated and difficult to understand. So we made it really simple to create, backtest, and monitor a trading strategy for anyone. For the moment it's aimed at intermediate/expert traders but we plan to build a marketplace so beginner traders can get involved as well. Because we want all traders to feel comfortable with their strategy we focus on transparency. We want to ensure that at any time a trader can understand what their bot is currently doing and why trades were made.We plan on adding more indicators over the coming days as some are still "Coming Soon".We basically are just looking for any and all feedback! What do you love? What do you hate? What would you like to see next? Thanks Reddit, really appreciate any feedback you give us!

Verge (XVG) Has Lost 94 Percent of Its Value After Three Time Warp Attacks and a 51 Percent Attack in 2018, Now Mining Code Is Malfunctioning and Developers May Fork to Proof of Stake (PoS)

https://ift.tt/2Nx0UlS War On Shitcoins Episode 13: Verge (XVG). The war on shitcoins is a Crypto.IQ series that targets and shoots down cryptocurrencies that are not worth investing in either due to their being scams, having serious design flaws, being centralized, or in general just being worthless copies of other cryptocurrencies. There are thousands of shitcoins that are ruining the markets, and Crypto.IQ intends to expose all of them. The crypto space needs an exorcism, and we are happy to provide it.Unlike most shitcoins, Verge (XVG) had a legitimate launch with 0 percent premine, no initial coin offering (ICO), and open source code. Further, Verge (XVG) integrates Tor in all of its wallets to obfuscate IP addresses, provides I2P tunneling to ensure anonymity, uses dual-key stealth addressing to make transactions more anonymous, and has a built-in encrypted message system. Essentially, Verge (XVG) had everything needed to be a top-notch privacy coin. However, Verge’s (XVG) mining code left it prone to time warp and 51 percent attacks, ultimately compromising its reputability and immutability.Verge (XVG) mining is multi-algorithm in order to provide equal access to a variety of mining equipment. The algorithms include Scrypt, X17, Lyra2rev2, myr-groestl, and blake2s. If the code is functioning correctly, every next block must be mined by a different algorithm. In April 2018, attackers set block timestamps to one hour in the past and struck blocks with the same algorithm. Also, with this method, mining difficulty dropped to the lowest level possible, resulting in the hacker striking a block every second. This is known as a time warp attack. During this first attack, the hacker profited 20 million Verge (XVG) worth $1 million.Verge (XVG) developers implemented a fix that did not work, and around May 22, 2018 attackers were able to alternate between Scrypt and Lyra2rev2 and send blocks with manipulated timestamps in order to lower difficulty to the lowest possible level, at which point the attackers were manufacturing 25 blocks per minute. 35 million Verge (XVG) worth $1.8 million was generated in a few hours.Another patch from the devs proved to be insufficient, and another attack occurred only a week later. There was some evidence of a 51 percent attack in addition to the time warp attack. Indeed, an attacker mining blocks rapidly during a time warp attack could easily perform a double spend by sending a transaction and then submitting a new longer chain where the transaction did not exist. The Verge (XVG) development team actually denied the third attack, and it is unclear if the code was ever fixed although no attacks have been reported since June. The Verge (XVG) annual report for 2018 did not mention the attacks at all, even though the attacks were the biggest news of the year for Verge (XVG).In the latest Verge (XVG) update on Feb. 15, the developers mention that miners are having a difficult time setting up a working mining environment due to non-existing timestamps in Coinbase transactions. To remedy this, the Verge (XVG) developers are considering completely abandoning proof of work (PoW) mining and transitioning to Proof of Stake (PoS). This would defeat the purpose of Verge (XVG) mining being available to multiple types of mining rigs and also would centralize mining into the hands of people who hold the most Verge (XVG). Additionally, PoS gives the Verge (XVG) developers more control to fork in the future. In addition to transitioning to PoS, the Verge (XVG) developers would alter the block halving schedule to ensure that miners make enough revenue until the PoS transition is complete. This would lead to higher inflation and also shakes the confidence of Verge (XVG) investors since clearly the developers can change the coin supply at will. The one positive thing about PoS is that Verge (XVG) will not be 51 percent or time warp vulnerable again, although this comes at the expense of abandoning the entire mining community, which has been essential to Verge’s (XVG) popularity.Ultimately, the repeated time warp attacks and 51 percent attack on Verge (XVG) have caused investors, traders, and miners to question the security, reputation, and immutability of Verge (XVG). This is reflected in the collapse of Verge’s (XVG) market cap from $1.6 billion in April 2018 just after the first attack to $90 million, a 94 percent loss.Verge (XVG) actually had a strong rally in April 2018 despite the crypto bear market due to its partnership with PornHub and other porn websites. If the attacks had not happened, Verge (XVG) might have continued to rally and could have been a top 10 cryptocurrency today. By August 2018, Pornhub teamed up with Tron (TRX), likely due to the Verge (XVG) reputation being so shaky. The Verge (XVG) saga is a good example of how time warp attacks and 51 percent attacks can destroy the reputation and destiny of a cryptocurrency, no matter how solid the premise and partnerships of a cryptocurrency are. A cryptocurrency must be immutable and secure in order to gain adoption and value. At this point, privacy coin users are better off using Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), or Dash (DASH), which have strong reputations, rather than Verge (XVG), which has a history of repeated attacks and a constantly changing codebase.

Elixir (ELIX) Abandons Development due to Funding.

From Telegram:“Hi all, apologies for the delay in response. We’ve been having a lot of discussion about ELIX for the past few weeks and have been trying to choose the smartest path. Unfortunately, the project doesn’t have funds to further full time development. Most startups stay side projects early on, but we feel that this model wouldn’t do the project justice. That’s why it’s been a particularly hard decision to make. We feel particularly with the incorporation of the token, running it is as a side project wouldn’t be fair to the token community. We would rather members of the crypto community be focused on projects that have resources for full time development. Without the clear ability to commit to full time development, we don’t feel it’s a good path for us at this time. We feel that we’d be doing a less than quality job as startup founders if we only partially focus on the project. We will likely keep the pages up and the community pages up, and should we have more time and want to develop them, we may do so. But we want to be clear that we don’t have the funding to devote time to them right now that we wish we could have. While this might be disheartening, I think we’ve learned more than we could have in the past year and a half building our own products than we ever could have at a large company, which does make us optimistic about the work we’ve done.”

Cigarettes for Bitcoin

Come March 3rd, it’ll be one month of trading in my habit of two packs of cigarettes a day for Bitcoin! I’ve already saved myself a considerable sum by putting away my daily cig expenditures into Bitcoin instead. I’m very happy with this decision as it only propels me to my goal of owning (at least) one Bitcoin. Honestly, everyone should hold at least some Bitcoin in their portfolio. I’m glad I am finally adding this to mine! For anyone looking to make that plunge as well, go for it! You’ll be very happy with your decision and you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment as you save up for your Bitcoin!

Substratum Private Insider Group, yeah it actually exists.

Since this is in the public interest now, here’s new information to light regarding the validity of u/ZoranSlaveski Reddit post regarding a “Substratum Private Insiders Group”. Through someone who has been in one of these groups at one point, I was able to get screenshots and more info on this “private group”.Now, I didn’t stay in this long because I realized this community is one of the most dogmatic and cultlike communities I’ve ever came across. Excuse my bluntness, but I think all should see the truth behind this. This group is filled with influencers, team members, moderators and select investors who coordinate downvote brigades and as u/ZoranSlaveski pointed out attack other projects i.e. Skycoin. There’s clear manipulation going on here.Substratum moderators will call this FUD I guarantee it and say it’s photoshopped etc… But it’s not. There was a group in the past that was made and a new group was formed, showing conversations with others with others and a Substratum moderator saying this new group was formed to verify. I have no idea what goes on this new group but I have received screenshots from people in it, so I know there is one.The core Substratum team. Yes that includes all of the core team members were all in this group along with several Youtubers you have probably heard of at one point. Including.. DataDash and Young & Investing.Justin Tabb even instructed mods in the group to “Ban his ass”to a past community member for the amount of traction an article posted on Reddit gained. There’s evidence of bwolf(a major SUB supporter who posts about Substratum like crazy and spams referral links) organizing downvote brigades here on r/cryptocurrency. This same image was sent to mods and was said “it’s photoshopped”. Subsequently, several posts were downvoted to 0 as have been others in the past. There’s even evidence of Justin Tabb telling this insider group he wanted to “shut down Reddit and Telegram” because “it’s just crap that distracts us from what we are doing”.Of the major proponents and members in the group, there are admins from Substratum Telegram and Reddit like Bwolf, Monopoly Money, Cuba, Crypto Kiwi, and in particular dcatt47 who has been accused of buying upvotes and paying for downvote brigades on r/cc.I think this is now in the public interest after the reception that u/ZoranSlaveski garnered from his post. I hope more people come forward.

WARNING - Coinomi Wallet CRITICAL Vulnerability Made Me Lose My Life Savings

Please note that you can view a better version of this post here:https://ift.tt/2IGqBBK multi-asset wallet poor implementation leads to sharing your plain-text passphrase with a third-party server. My passphrase was compromised and $60K-$70K worth of crypto-currency were stolen because of Coinomi wallet and how the wallet handled my passphrase. I’m disclosing this issue publicly because Coinomi refused to take the responsibility and all my attempts through private channels have failed. Please note that this security issue cannot be exploited by anyone except by the people who created it or have control over the backend. To everyone who is using or used Coinomi wallet, make sure to remove your funds from the wallet and change your passphrase by creating a new wallet using another application otherwise your funds might get stolen sooner or later. To understand how catastrophic the security issue is, they simply take your crypto-currency wallet’s passphrases/seeds and spell check it by sending it remotely to Google servers in clear plain text! They did not take the responsibility of my loss, I gave them more than 24 hours before full disclosure, they fixed the issue without notifying their users and they kept procrastinating like scumbags to buy more time.Below is a link to their final response to my request after going back and forth with them for over 3 days to get my stolen funds back, even after they confirmed the security issue and you can clearly see how silly and reckless their responses are (these responses are just examples):https://ift.tt/2TmkLcU advice never ever trust Coinomi with your hard earned crypto-currency assets. Read this post entirely to understand why because this is not their first time reflecting this kind behavior. The IncidentFirst of all I admit it was my mistake trusting Coinomi wallet by inserting one of my main wallets (Exodus wallet) passphrase into their application. I trusted them because I downloaded the software from their website, the setup file was digitally signed and was mentioned by several reputable websites such as bitcoinwiki.org. I wanted to shift some of the assets that were not supported by Exodus wallet using the same passphrase/seed.The incident began on 14th February, 2019. I downloaded and installed Coinomi application (Windows version) and noticed that their setup file was digitally signed but their main application was NOT signed after the installation process was completed.I contacted them publicly through twitter (@warith2020) and they confirmed the issue then uploaded a new version with the main application signed. At that time I had already entered my Exodus’s wallet passphrase into Coinomi’s application. On 22nd February 2019, I noticed that more than 90% of my Exodus wallet assets were transferred to multiple wallet addresses and the first transaction began with BTC on 19th February 2019 around 3:30 am UTC. Then followed by ETH (including ERC20 tokens), LTC and finally BCH.Technical AnalysisI started going back in time and arranging the events. The only new thing that I did was installing and running Coinomi wallet so my first conclusion was that the unsigned version of the application had a backdoor.I did further investigation and compared both the unsigned version of the setup file and the signed version. The only difference was they added digital signature to the main executable file and the Java file (the main application). At that stage I thought that there is probably something suspicious about the application apart from having their main executable unsigned, so I started replicating what I did in a new virtual machine but this time I installed “Fiddler”. A software that allows you to monitor and debug HTTP/HTTPS traffic of all applications running on your machine.I started monitoring the traffic by running Fiddler in the background and then started Coinomi wallet. The first thing I noticed is that Coinomi application starts downloading dictionary wordlist from the following web address:https://redirector.gvt1.com/edgedl/chrome/dict/en-us-8-0.bdicThen I clicked on restore wallet and pasted a random passphrase and suddenly the screen screamed SURPRISE MOTHER****** (boom puzzle solved!)The WHOLE passphrase in plain-text is sent to googleapis.com a domain name owned by Google! It was sending it as a spelling check function! Here is sample of the screenshot of the HTTP request:https://avoid-coinomi.com/files/coinomi_screenshot_1.pngTo verify my findings I have uploaded a video for anyone who wants to test and replicate what I did:https://avoid-coinomi.com/files/coinomi_http_traffic_video.mp4You can also simply paste any random sentence with spelling mistake in the textbox in Coinomi‘s “Restore Wallet” form/page and you will see that it gets underlined with red line after being sent in clear text to googleapis.com.To understand what’s going on, I will explain it technically. Coinomi core functionality is built using Java programming language. The user interface is designed using HTML/JavaScript and rendered using integrated Chromium (Google’s open-source project) based browser. The whole thing is done using JxBrowser to build cross-platform applications and before you say (like Coinomi‘s CTO did) that it’s JxBrowser issue, let me tell you that they mentioned this on their website in 2016 and how to disable the spell checking default behavior:https://jxbrowser.support.teamdev.com/support/solutions/articles/9000044250-configuring-spell-checkerSo essentially the textbox which you enter your passphrase in, is basically an HTML file ran by Chromium browser component and once you type or paste anything in that textbox it will immediately and discreetly send it remotely to googleapis.com for spelling check (how awesome is that!)As a result, someone from Google’s team or whoever had access to the HTTP requests that are sent to googleapis.com found the passphrase and used it to steal my $60K-$70K worth crypto assets (at current market price). Anyone who is involved in technology and crypto-currency knows that a 12 random English words separated by spaces will probably be a passphrase to a crypto-currency wallet!Coinomi’s ResponseThe team behind Coinomi are either extremely smart to add such backdoor so that when they get caught they would simply say it was an honest mistake or they are extremely stupid to overlook such security bug.I will not be surprised if they intentionally created this backdoor behavior function and had an insider at Google especially when you learn from recent news about a founder of crypto-currency exchange claiming weird suspicious death while no one except him has access to the crypto-currency assets!Coinomi’s team did not reflect any responsible behavior and they kept asking me about the technical issue behind the bug because they were worried about their public image and reputation. They kept ignoring my request of taking the responsibility and ignored my solid facts regarding it. They didn’t give a single **** about my stolen crypto assets. They kept reminding me (kinda threatening me) of the legal implications if I go public with the information I have and they forgot their legal responsibility for my stolen crypto assets as well as the risk that impacts other users of the wallet. In fact, Coinomi’s team discreetly deleted their reply to my tweets to hide the evidence regarding their unsigned main executable in which they confirmed the issue and they didn’t respond to my requests as shown in the following screenshots:https://avoid-coinomi.com/files/coinomi_tweets.pdfSuch behavior was a clear evidence for me that there is something suspicious about their wallet and they didn’t want to expose it. It seems the founders are the developers of the application and they don’t like anyone who criticizes their ugly baby creation “Coinomi” wallet. They think that they are the code gurus fallen from the heavens who write perfect code. However, before I published my findings I sent them the whole thing giving them more than 12 hours heads-up because they requested a clear technical evidence. Their CTO told me that he will download the report within 3 hours (they downloaded the report after 5-6 hours). Imagine someone tells you that you have a CRITICAL vulnerability in your software which holds users' hard earned crypto assets and yet you act carelessly because somehow you think you are a superior creature (Khan from Star Trek Into Darkness movie).Below are the screenshots of the private messages between Coinomi’s CTO and me:https://avoid-coinomi.com/files/coinomi_cto_private_messages.pdfThis is not their first time behaving this way especially when someone finds an issue with their application. Luke Childs previously published a security vulnerability/misconfiguration and their response was somehow similar:https://ift.tt/2ISqS4X recap the events for further investigation:My first passphrase attempt was sent to googleapis.com through Coinomi wallet was on 14th February 2019Google’s employee or whoever has control over the data that are sent to googleapis.com processed the data that had my passphrase and that was between 14th and 19th February 2019My crypto assets were stolen on 19th February 2019 starting around 3:30 am UTC and the transactions continued for 15 minutes. At the end 90% of the assets were gone and remaining assets were only left because these assets were supported by Exodus wallet but NOT Coinomi wallet (what a coincidence you say!)Please note that I took all the security precaution to keep my passphrase and wallet safe. I have a separate isolated virtual machine for it with Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware and firewall installed. I also had other wallets on the same virtual machine for years. Nothing was stolen except for the wallet which I recently used my passphrase in, which is Coinomi wallet! What's NextI will start taking legal actions against the company behind Coinomi if they don’t act and take the responsibility. The company is registered in UK as “Coinomi LTD” if anyone one has faced or facing similar case were you suddenly lost your crypto assets and you happen to have used Coinomi wallet. The funny thing is that they state on their website:“Most importantly, no Coinomi wallet has ever been hacked or otherwise compromised to date.” (bull****!)Be aware that probably all desktop versions are affected (I’m not sure about the mobile versions) and the guy/group who is/are capturing the passphrases, possibly targeting only wallets with decent amount of assets to stay low profile as long as he/they can.I have also uploaded copy of the latest version of Coinomi application in case they take down the links to hide the facts:Download UNSIGNED version (proof that the main application was not signed)Download signed version (proof that the wallet sends passphrase to a remote server)Screenshot of the SHA256SUM hashes before the patchFinal ThoughtsThis was an expensive and mentally painful experience to learn from and hopefully after publishing this post no one will experience the same. The lessons learned so far:Never trust any multi-asset crypto wallet unless they have done an external security audit by a trusted third-party and their security audit is publicly available.Never ever trust Coinomi with your hard earned crypto-currencies. They do not take any responsibility and when they f***-up things they just run away like it’s not their business.Never ever trust Google services/products with your sensitive information. They have great control over the data and it seems their policy isn’t that strict which results in taking advantage and the power of the collected data by their employees especially who have malicious intents. At the end I need to make it clear again why I published this:Spread awareness among users who are using or used Coinomi wallet.Demand my stolen crypto-currency assets from the company behind Coinomi wallet either in terms of crypto currency or in terms of fiat currency. The more they procrastinate the more the value of the assets increase by time.Force Google to start investigating the issue. I’m pretty sure this is a serious issue not only in regards of my stolen crypto-currency assets but also in terms of users’ privacy and their data being maliciously used by Google’s employees or whoever have control over these data. Finally I hope the moderators pin this post to spread awareness. I’m pretty sure hundred thousands of crypto assets will be saved and many users will have the opportunity to save their hard earned crypto assets!Next time if you need to spell check your passphrase/seed and to make sure that you are following the English dictionary just use Coinomi wallet LMAO!

Is this unjust? Where a bank can shut you down for investing in the cannabis industry even if it's legal in your country or state? A perfect use case for crypto where it is borderless and censorship resistant. No longer the banks are the gatekeepers of our own money.

WARNING: Ongoing ICO AMMBR, or more aptly SCAMMBR, is being run by former Butterfly Labs hacks

They say birds of a feather flock together and apparently that now includes butterflies. I recently came across a new crypto/hardware company, AMMBR, doing an ICO that contains at least 7 former members of the infamous Butterfly Labs company in varying capacities.Interestingly enough, my curiosity was peaked piqued as a family member who was involved with BFL mentioned this project on Facebook and I automatically knew there had to be a connection to BFL because that family member knows practically nothing about cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, it seems he has not learned from his mistakes and is still participating in shady, possibly illicit activities, along with many of his former butts!I’m now going to connect the dots for you to the people associated with SCAMMBR to show beyond a reasonable doubt that they are a quasi-reincarnation of BFL.If you go to their website, www.ammbr.com, you can see their team members. Here are some of note:1.) FORMER BFL Chief Technology Officer: Nasser GhoseiriNasser was the Iranian living in France and one of the three named defendants in the case brought against BFL by the FTC which BFL lost.BFL CONNECTION:https://ift.tt/2Xz5ZPs CONNECTION: Senior IT Consultanthttps://https://ift.tt/2SsSJrF) FORMER BFL VP of Marketing: Jeff OwnbyJeff is the infamous character who pulled the trick of buying Buttcoin.org surreptitiously and then chanigng the negative articles to positive. Jeff isn’t listed on the official site, but he’s always worked behind the scenes from my experience as he was never listed as a BFL employee either. While he doesn’t list BFL on his LinkedIn profile, it’s fairly obvious when you read his experience at ForceStream.BFL CONNECTION:https://ift.tt/2XrD2EP CONNECTION: VP of Marketinghttps://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffownby/https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ammbrtech#section-board-members-and-advisors3.) FORMER BFL Marketing Manager: Jurie PieterseJurie is Jeff’s right-hand man and took over my position after it changed hands once since I left. Wherever Jeff goes, Jurie seems to follow, even on one of their new ventures: https://ift.tt/2Xz61a2 CONNECTION:https://ift.tt/2Su6G8O NAMED IN COURT DOCUMENTS FROM FTC CASE TRANSCRIPTS)SCAMMBR CONNECTION: Chief Marketing Officerhttps://https://ift.tt/2Xz62L8) FORMER BFL PRODUCT DESIGN CONSULTANT: Jason AspinallJason was brought in at BFL when the redesign of the BitForce series needed to be done due to heat issues and for a variety of other design issues.BFL CONNECTION:https://ift.tt/2StrHAl CONNECTION: Electro-Mechanical Design & Testing Engineerhttps://https://ift.tt/2Xz63ia) FORMER BFL PCB DESIGNER/MANUFACTURER: Ankur PatelBFL used Ankur Patel and his company PCB Overnight for their boards in the miners. These boards suffered numerous problems and could not be produced in the quantity needed.BFL CONNECTION:https://ift.tt/2SsZpWT CONNECTION: Head of PROCUREMENThttps://https://ift.tt/2Xz64Tg who else is on the team? After checking out their team page, I saw a photo with a few familiar faces. Wanna know who they are?SCAMMBR TEAMNOTABLE FIGURES IN PIC:1.) Third from the left is The Infamous Josh Zerlan, aka Inaba, aka u/NitroWolf, aka BagO’Dicks, former VP of Product Dev at BFL, and now apparently consulting or a part of SCAMMBR according to the “Projects” section of his LinkedIn profile: https://ift.tt/2StrKMx) Four spots to the right of Josh is The Infamous Dave “The Knife” Mcclain, aka "THE MOLE", former BFL Account Manager, who seems to be a part of it as well as he is pictured on their website with their team in a photo which also includes Josh. Not sure what he does there as he has little understanding of cryptocurrency or just about any technical development since the VCR.BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!SCAMMBR was originally founded in 2017.(SOURCE: https://ift.tt/2XqaSu0 https://ift.tt/2StrLQB it had two main issues which found itself on the dead coin list until it was recently resurrected, one being lack of interest/exchange listings and the other being a major security vulnerability in the smart contract, and the third being that anything BFL touches turns to shit.ISSUE ONE: According to the Coinopsy link above, among other interesting reasons, they proclaimed that: “Ammbr was founded in 2017 and is not trading on any exchanges. Was added to the dead coins list due to the fact they did not reach any exchanges after one year and they canceled the ICO.”SOURCE FOR 2017 ICO RELEASE: (https://ift.tt/2XkslnH TWO:THE SCAMMBR SMART CONTRACT BUG:(SOURCE: https://ift.tt/2SpFp7r this bug affected many ERC-20 contracts, on July 8th, 2018, “John Wick Security Lab revealed highly risky transactions in AMMBR(AMR) contract. It contains an integer overflow bug that could be made use of by hackers calling batchTransfer(), resulting in transferring out tokens without limits.”This can be seen in this tweet by SCAMMBR where they had to change the smart contract:https://twitter.com/ammbrplatform/status/1011124298868776960?lang=enWE'RE NOT DONE YET! SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST!After doing further research on the SCAMMBR website, because nothing BFL is involved with is ever like it seems, I found some suspect/fake/front companies and astroturfing.r/AMMBRPlatformBy all accounts, that sub is highly suspected of astroturfing by shills, employees and their families. Very few posts concern the actual project and the mods are mostly absent. All of the posts repeat the same lines or hashtags, but no comments. Mod u/Jory- doesn't post much in cryptocurrency subs, while u/AMMBRPlatform has never posted.https://ift.tt/2Xm5WpY WALLET IS THE BFL BITSAFE:This is one of my favorite finds as it didn't occur to me until after doing most of my research, but then it clicked suddenly that I knew the design.BITCOINTALK: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4685822.msg%msg_id%SCAMMBRTECH posted on Bitcointalk on 7/16/18 regarding a new mobile wallet that has yet to come to market, the Blackbird Hardware Wallet. What are the biggest risks you currently see for the crypto market in 2019?

I know this subreddit usually is about "positive" thinking, be my guest and downvote me, but I prefer to get an accurate picture of reality.Personally what still makes me hesitant:Tether, oh boy haven't we heard this now for about 1 ½ years. But for me it is still very, very, very risky to let Tether be the backbone of all liquidity in the crypto markets. If I am not mistaken, about 85 % of all volume for Bitcoin is in Tether.Do you guys remember this past fall when Tether broke it's peg and went below 90 cents, then redeemed $900 Million USDT, the price of Bitcoin crashed just shortly afterwards, and that crash did not look natural at all. The $6000 level looked as if it was artificially held. Then Tether announced on November 27th that they would make a redeemable system and would not be using Bitfinex as their proxy for USD <-> USDT anymore. However, not ONE redeemed USDT has been recorded besides Bitfinex since it's inception almost 3 months ago, you can see this here at the Treasury for Tether.Bitfinex, same old here too. The issues they've had with fiat withdrawals and their connections with companies such as Crypto Capital and Noble Bank does not look good, it looks very much alike QuadrigaCX.Mt.Gox redistribution of 150 000 + BTC, many crypto holders blamed Mt.Gox as the source for the 2018 crash, since they sold off 30 000 BTC. I think this was mostly a false narrative, however the proceedings with Mt.Gox is going forward and the BTC could start to get redistributed this year. Hopefully we will know more at March 20th when they will hold their next committee meeting.Market correlation and amount of dead/copied/irrational projects with tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of valuation. This makes it hard to see like we're getting close to a rational market.Fake volume / Leverage trading / Market manipulation, this point goes hand in hand and explains some of the Bart action we get every now and then. Whales can enter leverage positions, then wash trade or simply buy on the market and profit their leverage trades. That's probably not going to be a good thing in the market, besides for the whales doing the manipulation.I also see great potential in crypto, but we discuss that 24/7, so I thought we could try to look at this market as objectively as possible.Hope you guys can fill in with more!

PSA on Moon Browser Extension

Dear members of the CryptoCurrency community,TL;DR: Uninstall Moon, Revoke your Coinbase API Keys NOWI was the co-founder and CTO at https://paywithmoon.com. Due to my discovery of the unethical business practices Moon Technologies, Inc. has been engaged in, I have left the company. As of today, the moon browser extension manipulates the DOM of the users' browsers to give them an augmented shopping experience, one that allows them to shop online with cryptocurrency. Over the past couple of months, my co-founder, Kenneth Kruger, has ordered the collection of data belonging to users as a way to improve customer experiences. No users have ever been asked explicitly if they would prefer to opt-out of tracking, a feature which I regularly insisted should be added. If you are a user and look under at terms and conditions stated under https://ift.tt/2GKT33S (dated 26 Feb 2019), you will find the agreement hidden under one of the terms and conditions. This is a huge breach of GDPR and privacy laws that are meant to protect user data. From the moment a user installs the browser extension, the company will know exactly what pages are open on the user's browser, what the content of those pages are, and what the user is doing with them. The biggest and most alarming issue of all, is the process of collection of how the browser extension works in the backend - Coinbase API keys. From the moment the user initiates the connection between the company and Coinbase, the company watches for changes in the user's current window, waiting for the user to complete the one-time passcode (OTP) verification process as required by Coinbase. Once that is done, the company programatically clicks the required permissions (scopes) required to create the API key as it sees fit.The API key is then shown only once on the next screen, but the user does not know this (done via CSS manipulation). The company extracts the API keys into our backend, stored in plain text on the company's database on AWS. This is a definite security antipattern. This API key is then able to be used indefinitely until manually revoked by the individual user. When I asked Kenneth Kruger why we should not encrypt the keys or create recursively locking IAM policies to prevent anyone in the management team to have personal access to our users' API keys, Kenneth Kruger constantly avoided or redirected the discussion and prevented me from building any kind of system that would protect users.Only two days ago, I have been locked out of my organization accounts including AWS and can no longer take preventive measures to protect my users. If you are a user of our browser extension today, ***PLEASE*** you need to uninstall the browser extension via chrome://extensions and go into https://ift.tt/1Pq5kW1 and revoke ALL your API keys NOW.If you have not used the Moon browser extension, but know of a friend that might, please inform him or her to do so immediately. You can read more about my experience in another post here https://ift.tt/2GLXxXH had created Moon as I was crazy enough to think I was able to change the world with the single vision of bringing mass adoption to cryptocurrency, accelerating the future of the financial system. However, today is truly a sad day for crypto. Until we can find a way to completely decentralize and move away from the corporations, the no-accountability attitude and greed many executives possess, we cannot hope to bring forth the dream of cryptocurrency.Until we meet on the moon again, please be safe, not sorry,Alexander Ang

With XRP pairs being officially added to Coinbase, is the legitimacy of XRP as a non security proven?

Over the past two years a large part of this community has been very adamant about XRP ending up on Coinbase. The fact that it's not been listed yet has somehow been twisted into an argument for it being a security. With proof straight from the Coinbase blog that this is happening, will this argument finally be laid to rest? Or is Coinbase now risking their operations in the US by allowing dollars to be exchanged for unregulated securities? I know the arguments will be very divided so I'm looking forward to reading them.(link to article in reply)

Buy a Car with Cryptocurrency! Verus Coin Foundation Announces VerusPay™ -- Multi-coin Web Payment Gateway with Sapling Private Payment Support

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEFebruary 24, 2019 - The Verus Coin Foundation announces immediate availability of the free, open source, self-sovereign WooCommerce Payment gateway with optional Sapling private payments. VerusPay enables any Wordpress-based store to easily accept Verus Coin ($VRSC), and soon Pirate ($ARRR), Komodo ($KMD), Bitcoin ($BTC), Zcash ($ZEC), and others for product or service payments. VerusPay initially supports Verus Coin and is designed to support additional coins as well, with coin-specific QR invoices which work seamlessly with the Verus Mobile mobile wallet for one-click payments for any supported coin.VerusPay makes online payments as easy as cash, without depending on any centralized third party. Since there is no third party to charge payment fees, only normal blockchain transaction fees apply, which usually amount to fractions of a penny, independent of the amount.“VerusPay offers the first simple and provably private payment gateway that combines ease of installation and use with privacy beyond Visa/Mastercard or Paypal, as there simply are no third parties involved in a transaction,” said Mike Toutonghi, ex-Microsoft Vice President and Lead Developer for the Verus Coin Project. In addition to crypto enthusiasts, who expect to sell branded merchandise or tech-related goods using VerusPay, even mainstream businesses have taken an interest. At least one car dealership (https://ruttercars.com/) has decided to use the new VerusPay solution to sell cars. John Rutter, CEO of Rutter Cars in Chattanooga Tennessee, USA, is implementing the new VerusPay plugin to allow anyone to purchase a car with Verus Coin cryptocurrency, using the VerusPay online interface. “People can visit, browse our inventory, and have a simple choice to buy their car in a traditional way or with Verus cryptocurrency. I think projects with advantages like Verus privacy for customers and simplicity for small businesses like us are the ones that will succeed. We are happy to be early adopters in what we think will be a growing way to accept payments, and when people do pay this way, maybe we’ll just HODL.”VerusPay and installation instructions are available from the Verus Coin github here: https://ift.tt/2T06pPZ .Contact:Verus Coin Foundation: foundationrelease@veruscoin.ioVisit the Website: https://ift.tt/2vhLuti on Twitter: https://twitter.com/VerusCoinSubscribe on Reddit: https://ift.tt/2U825uy

I have an issue with the amount of censorship that takes place in the crypto space - whether via various subreddits, Telegram groups, or pretty much any existing crypto community. For a community that is so focused on decentralization, there is a ton of centralized control/bias over our media outlets. This censorship continues to hurt the space, slows progress, and shields users from obtaining open and honest information about cryptocurrency.Bitcointalk has a whole host of issues that I won't go into, and I think we as a community can do better. As such, I created a large-scale, modern-looking forum to help facilitate higher-level discussions and the focus on furthering the progression of ALL crypto projects. Everything on the site is free, the forum is ad-free, etc. This forum will be run by the community. As a result, I'm going to be looking for moderators to help me run the site in the next couple of days/weeks. We will stand STRONGLY against censorship of any kind and allow for open discussions. This means the community can actually discuss important and controversial issues like block size or Lightning Network without fear of being banned because you posted in the wrong subforum. It will be a requirement that all hired moderators stick to these principals, and any moderator who censors information that goes against their agenda will be immediately removed. On the site, many coins/tokens have their own discussion subforums already - you can request that we add your project or token here.Another feature we have added is that all users can create their own blogs and post content to them on the site. This makes it easy for projects to quickly publish updates or for users to write about any topic they choose and link to it, etc.Help us take a stand against censorship and build a community that allows for free and open discussion of cryptocurrency. The crypto market is maturing, and we need a more professional, all-in-one forum to cater to it.The site is here: https://www.coin.site

What did you expect?

Some days ago there was some guy posting about even though he'd transferred BTC from a gambling site to his own wallet and only then to Coinbase (or whatever centralized exchange it was), the exchange had now seized the BTC and/or started asked questions.Yesterday there was a monster thread complaining about intrusive KYC questions from Bitstamp.I don't get it.You lot are using transparent (privacyless) blockchains AND complaining that your transactions can, have, and ARE being actively tracked?!.You use centralized exchanges that under the force of law are REQUIRED to spy and report you AND you complain that they rape your privacy?.Seriously, it's time to wake up.The fourth reich is sprawled all over this planet. The wires are tapped, your internet activity is logged, your cellphone location and metadata is stored and automatically analyzed, your bank transactions/history have long been fair game, and..What did you expect ?That your crypto transactions would not be? On a transparent blockchain?!Wake up.The powers that be have been hard at work to account for every cent you own, under the guise of anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism, for years. We had FATCA and now we have the CRS, bank privacy has been severely eroded over the last decade, civil asset forfeiture is going to become a thing in Europe (the US has long been down that rabbit hole, somehow I doubt that US law enforcement is going to give up such a sweet deal), major "first-world" governments are pushing the cashless society concept forward like it's going out of style, and..What did you expect ?That they would leave crypto, where YOU can be the bank, where you DON'T depend on third parties to process (and thus control, censor and surveil) your transactions, alone?Come on.Look at the new AMLd 5, straight from the horses mouth, they would very much like to know every crypto address that belongs to you - and everyone else - well, given the transparent nature of most of the blockchains, and you can bet future laws that make payment processors and merchants share payment data (addresses, etc) with the government, you can bet that in time the government will know everyone you send crypto to, and what you pay for with crypto.Listen up.Unless you want cryptocurrency to go the way of the Internet post-9/11 (mass-surveillance) it's time to learn about privacy preserving technology. The irony of this sub is that this will come across as shilling or whatever, but believe me, I care very little for which cryptocurrency tech/coin we end up adopting, as long as it helps us preserve privacy and anonymity. If you think P&A is only for criminals, you're severely misguided. The only thing that a society without P&A is going to lead to is a totalitarian society where the government and the big corporations know your every move and have immense control over your life. Look at what is happening in China today with the social credit system, that is what is in store for us, UNLESS.Unless you stop paying for everything with your silly debit card. Use cash, ffs. Use it or LOSE IT.Unless you stop paying for stuff online with 100% transparent, surveillance-friendly cryptocurrency. Use Monero, ffs, the transactions cost less than a cent. And you think I'm shilling? Great, then do your own research, look into Zcash, Dash, and god forbid Verge, but I'm telling you, Monero is the best choice right now. Most of you get too tribal about this stuff, who cares which one it is, as long as it works and it PROTECTS OUR RIGHTS.Bitcoin doesn't, I hope you can see that. Maybe one day it will, but I find that very doubtful (would love to be wrong though) because Bitcoin is rightly so very conservative with changes to the protocol. And opt-out privacy (like Monero) would be quite the change.I really, really suggest that you consider what a future devoid of personal privacy looks like. And then, for your sake, for my sake, and for the sake of our children, I really suggest that you think long and hard whether you want to be a part of that world or not.It is not inevitable, but the totalitarian current is very strong at this moment. If it goes unchallenged, such measures will only grow in scope. This goes way, way beyond crypto moons, great profits, and all that.I hope that you can see that, and I hope that you will also do something about it.https://ift.tt/2SYhOzP will end with this. There will be those who say that we need such rules to prevent terrorism and money laundering, and that such measures are to some degree effective in combating such problems. My answer to that is that were you to mandate everyone to wear a body camera permanently recording everything, crime would also surely go down. If you're under surveillance 24/7, then of course you adjust your behavior and will likely refrain from criminal activity. But at what societal cost? At what cost to human dignity? Are we children, ruled over by a powerful daddy government, that demands to account for every cent, because we might have been naughty ?Understand this. The notion that "this person MAY be a terrorist, or MAY be helping terrorists financially", or "this person MAY be laundering ill-acquired monies", this notion is by nature paranoid, suspicious-by-default.It makes every transaction, every person, suspicious by default. To me that does not seem like a sane default. It is a totalitarian manifestation. Can you imagine the same logic applied elsewhere? "We cannot allow them to have encrypted communications, as they MIGHT be terrorists, or MIGHT be communicating with terrorists, or they MIGHT be spreading 'hate' speech).Well, actually I guess we can imagine that, courtesy of Australia. But do you see where that leads? It leads to stripping everyone naked whether they want to or not, it leads to suspicion of those who'd rather keep some modesty going, it leads to bullying and misapplication of state power. It grows the state and shrinks the individual. And thus it is anti-liberty.Can you imagine if, at the dawn of the Internet age, we all had to ask daddy government for permission to contact ANYONE online, because they MIGHT be terrorists, MIGHT be criminals ? How much that would have stifled progress and inovation and intercultural understanding? Now imagine having to answer for every single time you decide to send $200 to your good friend in Russia or Paraguay or the Congo. You MIGHT be laundering money, he MIGHT be a criminal.Questions will be asked. Is that the future you want to be part of?No, me neither. So do something about that. Today. As usual, DYOR, but I recommend Monero. When it comes to protecting financial privacy, it is the best tool we have available today. Whether this will remain so or not, I can't know. But I know this: A world where financial privacy is banished because "criminals also want it" is a world where human freedom is severely restricted. And I like my freedom.Do you?

The Verus Coin Foundation Announces Beta Availability of its Open Source Bitcoin and Altcoin Mobile Wallet, Portfolio, and Payment App -- “Which Coins do YOU Want Supported?”

February 24, 2019 (for immediate release) - The Verus Coin Foundation announces immediate availability of the beta version of Verus Mobile for both Android and iOS, a new open source multi-coin mobile wallet with VerusPay support. In addition to Verus Coin ($VRSC), this first version of Verus Mobile initially supports Bitcoin ($BTC), Zcash ($ZEC), Bitcoin Cash ($BCH), Komodo ($KMD), $DASH, $DOGE, $LTC, and others. Verus Coin will also run a weekly Twitter poll to find out which additional coins to add.Unlike many of the wallets available today, Verus Mobile is fully open source and written in React Native for the best mobile experience. In keeping with the Verus Vision, it will be extended to support public blockchains as a service (PBaaS) and applications built using that capability, when it becomes available on the Verus network, expected in the second quarter of 2019.With real-time prices automatically displayed for your holdings, Verus Mobile provides an up-to-date portfolio feature, displaying the value of all supported cryptocurrency holdings. Verus Mobile also includes QR scanning for addresses as well as VerusPay multi-coin invoices, which can be used with the VerusPay open source Web Payment Gateway, enabling QR invoices to include additional information, such as specific payment coin, amount, and even invoice IDs.Those who join The Verus Coin Foundation’s early test program will be able to receive regular updates, including test versions for the upcoming Verus public blockchains as a service (PBaaS) system, and applications that use Verus PBaaS to offer other services, such as blockchain based polls, voting, and identity, all applications that are part of the Verus Vision in its vision paper (https://ift.tt/2U823Ts current version is in beta test, and for iOS, must be downloaded and installed from its test flight link available here: https://ift.tt/2BQQito android version can be downloaded and installed from the VerusCoin github, here: https://ift.tt/2U824Xw Coin Foundation: foundationrelease at veruscoin.ioVisit the Website: https://ift.tt/2vhLuti on Twitter: https://twitter.com/VerusCoinSubscribe on Reddit: https://ift.tt/2U825uy

Lost 94% of my capital (over $100K) mostly due to Substratum, but it was my own fault

I posted a comment in the daily discussion thread today about my $100K+ crypto losses and among the kind responses a few people asked for more information on what happened. So I thought I'd post it here to explain.Note that I'm not blaming anyone else for this, it was my own stupidity and I should have stuck with Bitcoin instead of gambling so much on an altcoin, but sad to say I had drunk the koolaid and basically I fell for a scam project.I think I was sucked in to Substratum because the IDEA sounded so good. A decentralized Internet, breaking through firewalls and stuff like that. Even though the price was falling all last year I thought I was buying the dip but it kept dipping more and more. In the end I spent about $115,000 on Substratum ERC20 tokens, and I was forced to sell them all last week for $7K to pay for an emergency home repair. I lost 94% of my capital.Even a week ago I was convinced it would recover in the next bull market, but the Binance delisting was what made me realize it was always a scam. After that I looked into it more and found out about the leader gambling away the last ICO money, shorting ETH at the bottom, the fabricated GitHub commits, fake partnerships, the flaw that lets the devs print unlimited tokens (same problem as PRL). Plus lots more red flags that I just didn't see before. I also found out it can't even do decentralized Internet because it's reliant on centralized ISPs... SMH.It fell so hard after the Binance delisting that its even out of the top 300. I think it was ranked 50 when I started buying. I feel like a complete fool to be honest. In the end I had to sell because I needed the money and if I didn't sell my $7K would probably be down to $3K or $4K in a few months.I'll buy crypto again but in my position I won't have the funds to buy again for another six months or more. Knowing my luck crypto prices will pump back up now that I sold, although I don't think SUB will ever recover because of all the red flags and the likelihood of it being deemed a security by the SEC and anyway there's no decent exchanges to trade it on now.So that's my story.

I like Nano, change my mind

So I'm a crypto enthousiast. Originally I got interested in Ethereum for the smart contract feature. Past two/three years I've followed quitte some projects. For various reasons I like Eth, IOTA, NEO, ADA, Stellar & XRP but I also like NANO. I've got the feeling most people on this subreddit don't. I like how it uses only a friction of the energy, the insane settlement speed and that it's zero fees. For the end-user, it's the best currency (note: not blockchain project, just currency) in the current crypto space. Now I'm open-minded and curious: why would one not like NANO? Looking for in depth answers; I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing.

The Truth About Enigma

I wanted to address some of the conspiracy rumors circulating about Enigma right now. There has been a torrent of misinformation washing through a sewer of speculation and I have taken it upon myself to set the record straight. But first I have to set the scene.I’m not going to go into the origin of dragons and their endless wars through the epochs, but we should dip our toes into the past couple of centuries. In 1874, a young Nikola Tesla escaped conscription from the Austro-Hungarian army by hiding and living in a system of caves in the mountains near Tomingaj, Croatia. During his hiding he met a zmaj, a dragon, within the cave system. The dragon seemed sluggish and senile to Tesla. The dragon begged for any gold Tesla had on his person. Tesla, being a generous man, gave the dragon a gold coin he had always carried for good luck. His mother had always insisted Tesla should carry the coin for just such an encounter. The dragon looked at the coin longingly and ate it.Most of you have heard the stories of dragons coveting and hoarding gold. This is not a habit borne of greed but of survival. In the same way humans need iron in our diets, dragons need to ingest gold periodically. Dragons are extremely intelligent. They are also very agile for their size. Both qualities can be attributed to a superior neurophysiology that uses the low oxidation and high electroconductivity of gold to a dragon’s advantage. In short, dragons need gold to survive.Tesla and Vaskaja, the zmaj, became fast friends. Tesla was enamored with the alacrity Vaskaja could perform integral calculus in his head. Vaskaja borrowed Tesla’s dreams of moving to America. The dragon believed no other dragons had ever travelled to America, and its gold would be ripe for the picking. In 1884, Tesla moved to America, bringing along Vaskaja. Many people speculate on the logistics of smuggling a dragon across the Atlantic. No one has come up with a satisfactory explanation. Tesla and Vaskaja quickly get to work on revolutionizing the field of electrical engineering and procuring funding in the process. Many historians believe Tesla was supremely bad with money, always running and low and begging for more from countless investors. In truth, Tesla scrambled to get money any way he could to buy gold for Vaskaja’s consumption. In 1943, Tesla dies. Soon after, the FBI hires John J Trump to analyze Tesla’s lab notes. Trump quickly learns of the existence of Vaskaja and the extent of his partnership with Tesla. After weeks of negotiations between Vaskaja, Trump, and the DOD, Vaskaja is moved to his new home under the Federal Reserve Bank. In exchange for Vaskaja’s intellectual prowess, he is given a stipend of gold once a week from the reserves. In 1944, after stunning victories by the US Allies in WW2 due to the strategies created by Vaskaja, the US government agrees to procure more gold for the dragon. Vaskaja and the powers that be orchestrated the implementation of the Bretton Woods Agreement between several world powers. Consequently, many nations began depositing gold into the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. The following years were relatively peaceful and bountiful time for Vaskaja. He had plenty of gold to eat. And he was visited on a regular basis by John J Trump. On a few occasions, John brought his nephew, Donald to visit. These visits during Donald’s early years left an indelible mark on the young man, which may give a clue as to why to this very day Donald strives to surround himself with gold wherever he goes, emulating his childhood hero. But the bounty did not last. Bretton Woods was failing. More and more countries were threatening to take their gold back. In a desperate move to appease Vaskaja, Nixon abandoned Bretton Woods and killed the gold standard, effectively stopping the hemorrhaging of gold from the reserve. While in service to the US government, Vaskaja learned of two other dragons living in the states. The first, Ormelstex, was long thought dead by Vaskaja. Ormelstex was badly injured in a war thousands of years ago. He was thought to have fled from the combat and died. Ormelstex did flee, but he survived. How Ormelstex ended up in America, no one is quite sure. The wingless dragon keeps his own council. What is known is during the Civil War, a still gravely injured Ormelstex convinced several wealthy southerners to hide their wealth in the swamps with him. He would encircle and protect their gold deep in the swamps and they would protect him. They named themselves the Knights of the Golden Circle. Ormelstex ate all the gold, healed quickly and left them destitute. He made several deals with the US government after the war. He moved into the Mammoth cave system shortly after where the government fed him a steady diet of gold and provided them with counsel. When the US government began to face a shortage of gold, President Roosevelt outlawed the private ownership of gold. The government quickly and cheaply procured more gold for Ormelstex and build a reserve over a branch of the Mammoth cavern system the dragon frequented. We know this reserve today as Fort Knox.We don’t know much about the second dragon. It emigrated from Asia sometime shortly after the California gold rush and established residence under the San Francisco mint. It has been speculated that the Great Quake of 1906 was a consequence of the dragon giving birth. No one seems to know if this is true, and if it is, what happened to the young drakes. In 2007 and 2008 the financial crisis took a huge toll and the dozen or so dragons still living throughout the world. There was a bum rush for gold. The writing was on the wall. Dragons needed to devalue gold by any means necessary. They soon banded together and under the sobriquet of Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin. They quickly began recruiting the top cryptographers in the world to create a new ecosystem that would topple traditional financial institutions and consequently decimate the value of gold.Guy Zyskind is one of those recruits. Enigma’s true and sole goal is to create cheap gold by playing a key role in the web3 stack and destabilizing the status quo. That is the truth. It’s what you deserve.

The mods over at /requestnetwork are now actively involved in censorship and are permabanning those that criticize the project.

I just received a permaban for calling out and criticizing the project in a completely fair and reasonable way. I reached out for an explanation but they are completely silent. I guess they don't have enough mozzarella anymore so it's time to censor all opinions to keep feeding their greedy failed project. Seriously though, this is not acceptable and the team should be called out for it.The lack of updates over the year has seriously put a damper on this project and I no longer believe they are capable of delivering anything. They are trying to cover up their failure with a rebrand to generate false hype. The censorship does not help and further makes me believe that REQ will always at the very least be a shitcoin, possibly a scam coin. This is not acceptable.

Security Alert - Malicious links to a fake Atomic Wallet are being posted on many crypto subreddits

Please be advised, we have noticed a network of zombie accounts posting incorrect URLs to Atomic Wallet across much of crypto reddit. The correct url is AtomicWallet [dot] io, but they will post URLs like cryptoatomicwallet[dot]com or atomcwallet[dot]net or various other domain names similar enough to the real one to fool people. They have usually cloned the real site and the post title is typically about the subreddit's coin being added to the wallet, which is meant to get people excited instead of suspicious. Here is a page where you can view examples for yourself. It goes without saying, do not click any of these linkshttps://old.reddit.com/r/cryptocurrency/search?q=atomic+wallet+self%3Ano&sort=relevance&t=weekSome of these accounts:https://ift.tt/2NgA69A domains sometimes even have good SEO. The blockchain project is one of them. You Qi told reporters that they screened 50 or 60 SMEs in the blockchain field and chose to cooperate with XNode's recommended chain. This is a Shanghai company that offers technical solutions that are professional and commercial. As a decentralized distributed ledger database, what is the use of blockchains in the automotive industry? For example, Yu Qi said that in a car life cycle, customers paying for insurance and insurance company claims are originally two irrelevant things. After using blockchain technology, the two will be related through the distributed ledger database. To enable related companies to serve customers on one platform. This means that the blockchain can seamlessly connect enterprise services in all aspects of car purchase, insurance claims, maintenance and other aspects, resulting in greater commercial value. "Through cooperation, the VeChain (chain-only) business has entered Germany and has been reported by the German media, becoming a case of innovation and entrepreneurship in Shanghai." You Qi said. Some of the notable points to take away are:Since the cooperation with ๅˆ›ๆžๆ— ้™, BMW Cars (China) Ltd has deployed six new projects. So are we going to talk about what Elon Musk REALLY said?

Seeing posts all over socials about "Elon Musk says paper money is doomed". I haven't seen anybody reference this piece of info from his recent chat though."I'm not sure it would be a good use of Tesla resources to get involved in crypto. We're really just trying to accelerate the advance in sustainable energy. I think one of the downsides of crypto is, computationally, it's quite energy intensive.""There have to be some kind of constraints on the creation of crypto, but it's very energy intensive to create the incremental Bitcoin at this point".If you think this guy - the founder of PayPal - hasn't done at least a medium level dive into the tech behind Bitcoin and PoW in general, then your kidding yourself.Link for those who haven't heard the interview yet.

Unfortunately their fees haven't decreased, but instead gone up, and this is where crypto will separate itself. New Dutch Cryptocurrency regulations for 2020

On February 15th, the European Cryptocurrency Exchange (EUCX [ https://eucx.io ]), together with others such as Unibright, Leep Network and Cryptoline News, and the European Blockchain Foundation (EBF [ http://bit.ly/2Xb8ze9 ]) visited the Dutch Parliament to discuss the upcoming new financial regulations, which will encapsulate cryptocurrencies, or “virtual currencies” as the law refers to them. The new laws will go into effect on January 1st, 2020.Simply put, the new law will enable customers to hold exchanges (or other central brokers) accountable for their behavior in the broadest sense of the term, as cryptocurrency companies will finally be alleviated to the level of institutional financial entities. So for customers of exchanges this law is a great thing to happen. It will enable cryptocurrencies to finally be able to be taken serious. While customers won’t notice all too much from the new regulations (apart from required KYC in an attempt to counter money laundering), the central parties, such as exchanges will be slapped in the face with a plethora of rules to abide by.EUCX is one of those exchanges that wants to pioneer in regards to compliance and sets an example to be in close discourse with regulators and government.During the talks with the Dutch Parliament members, both EUCX and EBF felt that the concerns of the present parties were taken seriously. We want to emphasize the following: the Dutch government is definitely NOT anti-crypto. They’re also not anti-blockchain or anti-anything-crypto-related. In fact, it’s the COMPLETE OPPOSITE!They simply wish to construct a solid legal framework for cryptocurrencies to operate in. Just like the classical financial institutions.Currently, there is no legal definition of what a cryptocurrency is or what it does, except that one of the lower judges of the country ruled that Bitcoin et al. can legally be used for bartering and that it mostly resembles a commodity.Getting a legal definition of what a cryptocurrency is, is going to be huge, and, will lay the foundations towards protecting those who got screwed over by central parties who did whatever they liked “because it is fake inter-web money anyway”.The government’s main concern is that the Average Joe doesn’t get screwed over again. They told the present parties that their discussion regarding crypto actually got started because of the many scams (such as some exchanges that pack up their stuff when a regulator starts asking questions...) that screwed over so many people who didn’t know what they were getting into. And in that sense, cryptocurrencies are being equalized to stocks. The government is not going to limit cryptocurrencies. The government is going to regulate the SCAMMY BEHAVIOR OF COMPANIES and make money laundering through cryptocurrencies a criminal offense. That, ladies and gentlemen, is huge. That is what we’ve been waiting for! This all ties into the plan that the government has: in 1602 the Dutch invented stocks and the stock market and took the leading position in the financial world. Now, the Dutch want to take this leading role once again, by turning the Netherlands into a true, innovative Crypto Hub.Say hello to the Netherlands: Blockchain CountrySome links:https://eucx.io (European Cryptocurrency Exchange)https://twitter.com/eucx_eric (EUCX founder)https://twitter.com/eucx_erwin (EUCX founder)http://bit.ly/2SaW6na (article on the news)http://bit.ly/2Xb8ze9 (European Blockchain Foundation)https://twitter.com/BartBrands1982 (EBF founder)
