So tired of the same complaints over and over. "they are just trying to make themselves rich" or "they aren't doing this for your benefit" or "they only care about their own gain"...Yes!That's how a business works. You want them to be successful, because if they weren't...they wouldn't exist.Since when do we hate business who try to make profits? Do we hate Amazon because "they don't really care about you as a person"?Absolutely not.We get shit delivered to our houses cheaply and quickly. They make money, grow, and can offer us more shit for cheaper. Everyone wins.We want business to look out for themselves. We want them to be profitable. We want them to be competitive. It is such a stupid argument to say that you shouldn't invest in a project because the management team "just wants to be successful".I hear complaints most about Coinbase and Binance. Arguably the two most successful exchanges. How do you think they got that way? Because out of the goodness of their hearts, they want you to get rich? Come on.This absolutely goes for the coin projects themselves. VET, XRP, XLM, BNB, BAT, etc etc I've heard it about most coins at some point. It as not a bad thing that their controlling companies want to be successful. It just isn't. If you hold those coins you should be ecstatic that they are working towards growth. So okay, let's say you don't like the business model of a company. The fees are too high, you feel the ethics are questionable. Great. Use other services that fit what you want. If enough people agree with you, that service will grow. Support a company by using its services. Punish a company by not using them. Its that simple. Finally, I get a lot of you might say "but crypto is supposed to be free, decentralized, and anti-big bank big corporation!" To which i would respond "good luck." All rolled together, do you know what the biggest business in the entire world is? Art. Selling and making money off of Art. Call it whatever you want....but (for example) the indie artists playing local bars don't make millions. Big sell-out pop artists do.So, tl;dr, end of the day, moral of the story:We need to stop discounting and attacking companies simply for trying to be successful companies.
