Last I checked this is r/cryptocurrency, not r/Bitcoin or r/Ethereum. If you’re so insecure that you can’t even have a discussion about other projects without calling people shills then you should just go to your crypto currency sub-Reddit of choice and circle jerk with everyone there about it. The definition of shill would be someone who acts as a salesperson or promoter. If the discussion is around BTC confirmation times and another crypto comes up that is faster, they aren’t shilling it, they’re discussing why other tech might be a better more viable option. If the discussion is around insane gas fees and someone suggests a crypto that has smart contracts, again, it’s a discussion.I guess the bottom line? Grow the hell up and don’t take offense when people want to talk tech about projects that aren’t BTC or ETH.
