I lost everything in a pump and dump discord AMA!This is my first try-hard post in any subreddit so bear with me here on the formatting. TL; DR at bottom. I really hope this will be a cautionary tale for all of you. Learn from my mistake here and DO NOT JOIN A PUMP AND DUMP DISCORD NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU. On the other hand if you are currently in one or are considering participating, let me talk you out of it with this post.Some background info on me: I was heavily involved back during the 2017 bull market and struck it rich with nano. I rode that baby until the bitter end and made out with only 3-4x more than I had initially invested. I used those gains to get me through the next year. I got back into the game during this bull market when my coinbase earn coins starting pumping like crazy. I ended up with a couple hundred dollars and was looking for an easy way to quadruple it. That's when this all started. I will expose this discord and will provide screenshots if asked. I was asked to join BIG PUMP SIGNAL Discord by reddit DM and I joined. I used my twitter to get 50 invites because there was a looming promise that there would be a ranked pump and I would get an advantage. There were no ranked pumps... I still used the ranked chat to gab about moonshots, until the ranked chat was closed... all chats in fact have been closed for the last 3 weeks.How Big pump signal works: BPS is run by 2 guys, the owner who goes by John Ewbanks and the guy who runs it all who goes by Dominus. It really is super simple. You just make a burner binance account and run a vpn and you can buy any coin you want. The pump signal was given out at exactly the right time and it was your fault if you were too slow to beat out the bots that have been made by the users… Dominus would send a message saying to “ride the waves” or “next wave incoming!” and “ make sure to spread news of the coin on social media to get outsiders to buy in!” Clearly this guy thought he had the reach and power of Elon Musk or u/deepfuckingvalue but he didnt. No outsiders came in… ever. BPS used to be 1 pump a week. Now it’s 3-4 pumps a week which can only mean more profit for the owners and more people like me getting shafted for being dumb.I LOST EVERYTHING (duh)All I saw in the chat channels were positive news.-"oh i made 3 btc profit last pump!" i'm convinced that only the top 1% of " chairmen " in this group made profit including the owners that goes by the alias 'John Ewbanks, and Dominus.-"ride the waves!!! the pump lasts for days" In fact the pumps only lasted about 1-2 minutes at best.-" i made 500% profit last pump" These people were extremely lucky and most likely lost it all next pumpThe pumps never worked and it was clear that some people had bags with pre-made sell orders at around 400-600% profit.The first pump was DLT and i just watched this one. DLT went up big and then immediately crashed. I thought to myself, ez money ill get in on the next one.The next pump was NEBL price skyrocketed immediately and by the time my buy order was 150% over the market and then I sold at a MASSIVE loss. $200 down the drain in a matter of 1 minute. This was my last pump… I looked the next day at what neblio was trading at and it was over 30% lower than it was the previous day and it still hasn’t recovered. This leads me into my next point.BIG PUMP SIGNAL IS A TOXIC CANCER ON CRYPTO. This pump group has over 200k members and averages 15-20 million in volume per pump. They can now pump coins effectively with a market cap of 2-40 million! Every. Single. Coin they pump always dump really hard after and rarely recover. No small cap coin is safe from this group and they must be stopped before they do genuine damage to a coin YOU own. This group is a tumor on the lungs of what is a rising and fresh market. A market for the people is now able to be destroyed by a group of 200k mouth breathers who are being duped by a guy named John and Dominus. I wish I never joined this group and to the 50 people that I invited I am truly sorry. Please read this and spread the news not to join a pump and dump group.TL;DR I joined a pnd group and lost everything. The group is called Big Pump Signal. It is a scam run by 2 people who make millions of dollars in profit off of mostly innocent people. You will never make gainz from it, you will only lose. DO NOT JOIN IT.P.S. mods this post will probably get reported by people in the pump group so please don't take it down. The names of the 2 leaders are not their real names they are aliases. I am not doxxing anyone.
