Substratum dev claims over "2 MILLION lines of code" on GitHub. Counter API shows less than 32,000 lines.

B.J. Allmon is a Substratum dev who tweeted about 2 million lines of code on the Substratum GitHub repo.https://i.redd.it/51zlrapq14w11.pngThere are various tools that can be used to count lines of code in GitHub repos. Count LOC is a popular one. Running the SubstratumNode repo through Count LOC results in 32,000 lines of code. Other tools count even less. Where is the 2 million figure coming from, and why did a Substratum dev choose to misrepresent progress by inflating reality over 62.5x?
