Does anyone feel as though Fidelity launching their digital asset custody, is going to in a sense, light a fire underneath the founders of Bakkt? I imagine they were not expecting Fidelity to beat them to the punch, especially with how quiet Fidelity has been with this project. As we see with Bitcoin, first mover advantage is a very real thing and if Fidelity has a 6-12 month run managing this new asdet class before Bakkt even comes to fruition, I bet they are going to be fighting to prove that all the delays and missed deadlines were all in the name of providing a better service. I guess we will see how and if Bakkt responds to this competition!
