Wikipedia always asking for donations, but present few mainstream options..

I’m sure quite a few people here use Wikipedia on a regular basis. It’s a great resource, some might consider it a public utility to a degree. I certainly find value in it.They have constant run donation campaigns over the years, but every so often the red boxed text message comes up at the top of the screen asking for $2.75 to support Wikipedia. It’s up right now. When I went to their donation page, I was met with 4 major credit card options, PayPal, and Amazon Pay.https://donate.wikimedia.orgIsn’t it a bit strange they aren’t at least accepting a handful of cryptos? I haven’t looked too deeply into this, but I’ve seen people reference the fact that Wikipedia doesn’t take crypto donations.Does anybody know what’s up with this? Please drop links to the history if there is any. I know it’s not the easiest to manage, but I’d bet Wikipedia gets a bunch more donations if they offer crypto as a donation on their main page.I think you can donate using crypto through a different webpage, but it wasn’t immediately easy to find.
