Is there a second layer solution to deal with the mass amounts of electricity used to secure the network. I am a BTC holder and maximalist but I am starting to get concerned the energy usage will be the downfall and the reason why another Cryptocurrency eventually becomes the standard bearer.I would assume there are smart people working on the issue but I haven't heard much. Also, yes, I know most miners use renewable energy, but that isn't a good long term solution. As the network grows and price goes up, it is still going to be a massive energy suck which is not sustainable.Would love to hear someone knowledgable on the subject thoughts.
