One thing to remember if you are seeing people on twitter, reddit, or 4chan saying they just aped into a coin and for you not to miss out - these guys or girls most likely bought this coin, usually low volume coins, just so they can pump and dump in on people. Yes, there's a chance you can get in on the pump before it dumps, but usually by the time they post it the pump has already occurred.Another thing, if you see a coin pump because of some big news, if you're trying to join in on the pump make sure you get in extremely early after the news comes out, otherwise you may end up holding a bag for a while.Now, if you're just buying a coin with great fundamentals and just plan to hodl, well none of this applies!
