Yes, bitcoin helped me achieve the smile I have always wanted since a long time. It's not your lambo story but I just wanted to share it with y'all as this sub did help me with my decision to invest in early 2017!And I just got my braces off today and I'm ecstatic right now :)I sold around 80% of my ETH/BTC last year for my orthodontic treatment. NGL, it wasnt easy to let go of these investments when I had so much faith in their future. But I think my happiness was more important for me than money currently. Although I would start buying small quantities of eth/btc monthly in the near future. It was a costly treatment as I got those braces which are kinda hidden (invisible?).I am all done now and I can actually smile with confidence in person and in pictures. I hated smiling before since my teeth were a mess, and I notice I smile a lot more now. I feel better about myself now that I don’t have to worry about hiding my teeth and can just go on with life and being able to show a nice smile. Can't even describe how difficult it was to not constantly think about my teeth while talking/smiling/eating. It was making me hella anxious and I felt like I missed so many opportunities when it comes to my social life or professional life. I don't have to feel shy eating out in public. As cheesy as it sounds but this has been a life changing decision. Here's my before and after smile (:As someone just starting out in entry level job it was next to impossible for me to pay off for the treatment. And hence I delayed it for 3 years which kept me in a bit of depressive state as I just couldn't afford it no matter how many overtime hours I clocked. That's when r/cryptocurrency sub comes into the picture. While casually browsing reddit there was some post on r/all about bitcoin which intrigued me. I kept on lurking on this sub just reading about all the developments in btc and also started to learn about smart contracts on Etherum.I took the plunge with most of my savings on eth/btc in early 2017. Knowing very well it was risky but I had not much to lose as I was still young. To my surprise the whole market started growing rapidly in next few months but did full in early 2018. I kept buying small quantities with the overtime hours pay every month which eventually paid off.You guys don't know how thankful I am to you for A+ content on this sub with easy to understand explanation by a lot of knowledgeable members here. Else I would have just sold when markets were plummeting.Thank you, thank you again.I wish people would spend money on stuff which gives them real happiness in life rather than keeping on accumulating it for the end and missing on life.
